The second one is server database, which is intended for multi-user environment hence it is located in the server such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc. Databases require more capable servers and can be more expensive than the normal servers, so it is necessary to analyze your requirement. SQL Server or Oracle is required for more complex database management while Microsoft access on your system will be enough for simple database management.
